Action RPG: Princess Sword

It is a traditional, full-length RPG in which the princess of the Sealand Kingdom becomes aware of the great evil lurking in the shadows of the royal family and stands up to it.

The great evil in question was the prestigious Balfont family, renowned as the kingdom’s greatest pillars.

In reality, they were a dark clan that carried out operations that were beyond the royal family’s control and couldn’t be carried out openly. The monarchy couldn’t continue without the Balfont family, who were now the de facto rulers of the kingdom.

Alphys Balfont, the youngest child of the Balfont family, was extremely arrogant. He had a personality that did not treat the weak as humans. There were countless people who have had everything stolen from them in their lives by him.

If he wanted something, he would take it, rape, or kill. There was no conflict there. People called him the Demon King because he acted according to his emotions.

Despite this, the protagonist defeated Alphys towards the middle of the story. Many say that fighting Alphys was the hardest boss battle in any RPG. Even after defeating Alphys, one of the brothers who appeared immediately afterwards tells him, ++”He was the weakest of the Balfont family.”++

And I had reincarnated as that Alphys. At first, I didn’t understand what was happening, but the head of the Balfont family, Leorg, joyfully lifted me up as a baby. For some reason, I was conscious and realized the man holding me was Leorg.

It was Leorg who named me Alphys. Seeing Leorg so happy makes him seem like a good father, but he was really the final boss. A sad existence who was eventually defeated by the protagonist who stood up as an enemy of the Balfont family.

Even without thinking calmly, I would be raised as Alphys. Alphys was widely known as a scum character. He made villagers who begged for their lives kill each other, and when the winner thought they would be saved, he killed them too.

++—”I thought you would help me!”++
++—”Who said I would keep you alive? You’re scum for killing someone from the same village.”++

He was so extreme that he became very popular as a villain. To be honest, I didn’t hate it either. The reason was that Alphys was a character that was clearly set up as a villain. In fact, I found him more likable than the characters who were supposed to be good guys but naturally did and said trashy things.

The Balfont family, which gave birth to Alphys, could be said to be the ruling family of the kingdom. If there were monsters that the kingdom couldn’t handle, they would exterminate them. If there was a war with a neighboring country, they would rush to the scene. They eradicated people or organizations that were inconvenient for the kingdom.

Naturally, these achievements of the Balfont family were never revealed. It would always be covered up as some kind of incident and end there. The Balfont family wielded such immense power and influence, but in the end, everything was exposed, and they were destroyed by the protagonist.

In other words, if things continued as they were, I was destined to be killed by the protagonist. To put it bluntly, I was in despair.

But if I think about it, such an experience is not something anyone can have. I died for some reason in my previous life, but usually, that’s the end. Given a life that’s supposed to be once, being given a second chance is lucky.

Besides, I had knowledge from my previous life. “Princess Sword” is difficult despite its cute graphics. I uploaded a restricted play video of “Princess Sword” and the number of views exceeded hundreds of thousands.

I agree with the opinion that if he had lived until the later part of the story, he would have become the final boss. It was a boss battle and a character that left such an impact on the players.

I’m glad I was reincarnated as Alphys. With this cheat-spec character and my gaming knowledge, I should be able to avoid the fate of death. Even in a normal game, controlling a boss character would be exciting.
